Where sea and soul intertwine
My creative journey began in childhood, deeply captivated by the sea. I now spend countless hours roaming the beaches of Barcelona, searching for sea glass, beach crystals, and shells – my true inspiration. Having mastered epoxy resin many years ago while crafting wood and epoxy resin river tables, I now incorporate it into all my paintings. It provides not only a beautiful glossy finish but also builds incredible textures and waves. For my Christian-inspired pieces, I enjoy depicting lesser-known biblical scenes, adding sculpted clay elements for dimension and immersion. Though I work full-time in IT Security, painting is my sanctuary, my way of expressing my inner world and creativity.
Evoking serenity, a sense of home
With every unique piece, often 3D or glowing in the dark, and inspired by the sea and nature's colours, I aim to evoke serenity, a profound sense of home, and a return to the blue. I want people to experience that feeling of belonging and wellness – like the moment you first dip your toes into the sand on a beach holiday, feeling the warm sea breeze on your skin. My art, with its distinctive elements, is designed to bring that everyday beach vacation feeling directly into your space, creating a haven of peace and beauty.
Faith, colour, and distinctive expression
My Christian faith is a cornerstone of my artistic identity. I particularly love depicting impactful, yet less popular, scenes from the Bible. The interplay of teals and golds in my work isn't just about aesthetics; it’s about emphasizing the earthly and the godly, creating a striking contrast that speaks volumes. I meticulously play with light and shadows, enhancing the depth and narrative of each piece, making my art truly distinctive and a reflection of my deepest beliefs and passions. My love for colours like teal, aquamarine, green, blue, alongside golds and silvers, and fluorescent paint, all contribute to my unique style.
